This 1 Day Rwanda mountain gorillas Tour Begins from Kigali at 4:00 am with the pickup at the Hotel and drive to the Volcanoes National park in North Province for the Most Important experience of Mountain Gorillas. Very early in the morning, after breakfast at 4:00 am, you will be picked up by our guide for a transfer to volcanoes national park. Reach early enough at 7:30am for a short briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. This will be followed by the search of the gorillas in the forest, as, which will take about 2–6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in their natural habitat. Meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour and later ascend back to the starting point and after visit the is chance to visit the Diana Fosse exhibition center right, have drink or lunch before a transfer back to Kigali.

- Travel to Volcanoes National Park*: A drive of approximately 2-3 hours to reach the park, located in the northwest of Rwanda.
Briefing: Upon arrival, you'll receive a briefing from the park rangers about the gorilla trekking rules and what to expect.
- Assignment of Gorilla Families: You'll be assigned a specific gorilla family to track based on your fitness level and preferences.
The driving distance always changes depending on chosen gorilla family to visit, the experience itself last one hour.
-Start Trek: The trek can last from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. The hike can be strenuous, involving traversing through dense forests, steep slopes, and varying weather conditions.
- Encounter with Gorillas: Once the gorillas are located, you'll spend about one hour observing and photographing them. It's a unique opportunity to see their behavior and social interactions up close.

This tour has an age range of 12-70 years old, this means children under the age of 12 will not be eligible to participate in this tour. However, if you are over 70 years please contact us as you may be eligible.Â
Permits: Gorilla trekking permits are required and should be booked well in advance. The cost $1,500 per person.
